With limited space for a dining table, this pied-à-terre called for a custom counter-height table, which doubles as a prep space. A custom desk was designed to be the ideal height for the client with an elegant beveled edge and a deep pencil drawer. The restrained colour palette reveals the beauty and simplicity of Canadian ash, wool, and powder-coated steel. This project is an example of how functional and comfortable a 450 square foot home can be with a few custom pieces, carefully curated soft furnishings, and a beautiful mountain and city view.
